RECYCLE BABY!!! YAH!!! It's a passable audio editor, but the slices are useful for two non-traditional things that WaveLab / Soundforge really don't match; 1. Recycle's Dynamics! Man, these are sweet! The slice dynamics allow much more precision than just a threshold control. Don't like the loss of ...

I heared more shit music from boys than from girls... But this well might be caused by the much much bigger amount of boys doing it. That's exactly what it is. Any chump can pound out a formulaic track poorly mixed and unmastered. With 95% of the electronic music producers having penises, it stands...

it's all about planning ahead. If you are preforming on stage.. then prepare all your files before hand. Problem solved No, problem NOT solved. :x There's still a BIG problem! How am I supposed to prepare something I play on the fly? So, let's say I record an audio clip of an acoustic guitar in tim...

on a more productive note, dunno if other midi controllers do that (cause i haven't had the chance to try them all....yet) but the 3X config software accept a full MIDI string hexa for any control. The result? well, instead of firing 1 midi even for 1 control (say a button), you can fire 2, 3, 4, 5...

All these production tricks are great - but that's just it... They're for production! All this careful placing of midi notes, capturing your best live "take", and using other programs (fruity loops) to create files to be imported into live are all for ths studio, but they're too time consuming for t...

It can be so simple - but EFFECTIVE ! A button with Swing on/off A knob with Swing% (0-100) for a midi track. I use this always in reason, and this is really FUNKY ! You'll be happy to know that you can already do this in Live... What many of us are asking for is an even greater depth to groove - w...

Filter Crossfades
Reposted from a thread in the General section... I have been experimenting with this using drawn automation to do "filter crossfades", where I crossfade two signals not by attenuating the volume of one and increasing the other, but by sliding a low pass filter down on the outgoing signal and a cores...
