Re: Horrifyingly frustrating problem - New PC

Re: Horrifyingly frustrating problem - New PC

I am not saying you don't have power. I know you do, but no beep according to the error code means a problem with your power supply. Taking off the RAM proves nothing really and according to the code you should get two short beeps. I have had the same exactly issue with one my works computers and I ...

Re: Horrifyingly frustrating problem - New PC

Hi, I don't think this should be complicated to troubleshoot. I don't see why no beeps means faulty motherboard either.
The beep error codes are here: http://www.pchell.com/hardware/beepcodes.shtml

No beeps means power supply.

Re: Could anyone help out?

I think you're missing C++ libraries which you can install from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9B2DA534-3E03-4391-8A4D-074B9F2BC1BF&displaylang=en If that doesn't work you should be able somehow to deactivate the service but you have to google this. (Deactivating ...

fail. Beyond lame. If you are going to respond to my posts, please learn to read or at very least stop being too lazy to read what I have written. I've read what you wrote. I'm quoting your first post: Being intolerant in a vocal and yet not violent manner, toward those who infiltrate and take adva...

illegal immigrants who don't pay their taxes... I wonder how many natives do exactly the same... What's your point? 2 wrongs don't make a right. Illegal immigrants don't pay taxes mostly because they are not recognized in the system and therefore because of the way the system operates, they can't u...

Re: How can Opera help musicians today!

Isn't Opera a great web browser? My only beef is how few complex sites support it. I run Opera as my main browswer on all Windows and Linux systems. Still fire up IE on Windows when it's time to use a 'rich web app' though (tollerablem, and understandable). Opera 10 looks like a great release. The ...

Re: How many albums are you working on?

I always thought the vast amount of music we're exposed to today isn't a good thing. It's good to be more open to stuff but at the same time we need to be more focused. This disruption has only got one result, us working on a hundred things we never finish. PS: In fact I think this is a very intere...
