http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/msg/359420421.html you really want that rane serato mixer, huh? ;) i bought my own TTM57SL, but yea this is to fund a TT57SL for the club, in lieu of the amount of SSL based DJs coming through lately (ratio is about 50% of DJs), plus the control layer kicks ass an...

No PC drivers and unfortunently doesn't look like there ever will be. Firewire is pretty dodgy on the Windows side of things, unless you have the TI bridge chip your pretty fucked as far as reliabilty goes, so dont think they're going to bother. MH is 400 only - I was talking to this guy was behind...

Yohng's W1 (free Waves L1 clone) updated to UB / AU !

i was just browsing around and noticed that George Yohng had updated his W1 limiter to a universal binary.... and even better - made it an Audio Unit as well! http://yohng.com/w1limit.html For those of you unfamiliar, this is a pretty faithful Waves L1 clone and is a free plug-in. very CPU Lite too..

How would that make a difference? It's all connected anyway. I'll give it a go though... I hate m-audio :x
you lose bandwidth by going through a hub.
direct connection = maximum bandwidth and less of a chance for a driver conflict.

There are alot of midi devices that don't fair well with hubs.

How in the world do you plug a MIDI interface into a monitor? That doesn't make any sense at all...

one really nice thing about the audiofire 2 is that the headphone jack is independently addressable, meaning you can use it as a dedicated cue channel for Live performance. True. I wouldn't be considering it otherwise (it's like the Indigo DJ in that respect). indeed! pretty much a firewire indigo ...

go with Sampler first, then Operator later.. there are tons of free synths for Windows that have FM capabilities to hold you over, but how many free multisamplers with resynthesis engines?
