4 sends????

hi

there might be something i'm missing: i read on another thread that there was 4 sends, but it seems i only have 2 (ctrl-alt-S shows only 2 tracks on right hand side and 2 send knobs). is there a setting that enables the 2 other?
i'm running Live 3.0.3.
thanks

If I understand OK: you can start playing your song in the arranger view at any position by moving the black triangle that's just above the arrangement (initially at 1.1.0). this triangle corresponds to the song start. (it will be shown white while you are passing over the area). in session mode, yo...

midi-ox problem

hi, this might be a little off-topic, but since i don't get much feedback from the midi-ox forum... so, i'm trying to map one keyboard note to two commands, and i can't manage to get the proper output. the idea would be to press note 30 on my USB keyboard, and to have both note 30 and 32 out on the ...

about resizing the tracks, it's just that I have about 20 tracks simultaneously, and I can mute each one with my midi remote control, but I can't see them all without scrolling. for the first point it's hard to be more specific: my goal is to be able to change tempo between two songs in a single set...

thank you guys for your concern. unfortunately it doesn't really help... for the global mute utility suggection, i can do it on my mixing desk, so the problem is not to have no sound out, but rather to have a convenient way to do what i want to do --by the way, how do you put plug-ins on the m...

thanks for your feedback ryan. i do use scenes to launch clips. what i try to do is the following, you can try to do it: play a few scenes, stop the sequencer on the transport bar (so that tap tempo launching is effective), and then try to launch ANY scene using tap tempo. i couldn't do it. the only...

pre-selecting clips to be played

hi, first of all, THANK YOU ableton for your software. it's GREAT!!! now my point: i'd like to be able to select (in session mode) a range of clips, make them ready to be played (with the "play triangle" on the left green but not blinking), without triggering them. what i'd like to do is to have sev...

am i the only one concerned with this issue? seems strange to me.
how do people choose the clips that are ready to be played when launching a live set?
i'd like it to be the clips on the first line line, but it is not always the case... how do you deal with that?

thanks for your help!

setting your PC as a "standard PC" enables you to set up the IRQ #s yourself, instead of letting Windows do it. you can do it in the BIOS. assign your sound device to an IRQ # that's not used by any other device.
you'll avoid unwanted hardware clicks.
but XP handles it not so bad.

stopping and relaunching playback on a different scene

hi, here is my prob: in session mode, is it possible to select some clips, and have them ready to be played (with the green triangle on the left not blinking) without triggering them? what i'd like to do is to stop the playback, skip a few scenes and then start on a new scene using tap tempo. can so...
