Does the sound have an envelope? Can you elaborate on "the properties of the sound will change drastically"?

I save all my sets to an external hard drive, that way I can load them onto any computer running ableton.

I've started using automap pretty exclusively with the LP. It helps to really make the best use of the space, and also allows for you to send on any channel.

Otherwise I'm pretty sure you're gonna have to write your own script, but I'm interested to see if anyone else has an alternative.
