Re: I still loathe the "slicing" in live

I always slice by warp marker or I have all the samples spaced on even intervals... so I'm having a great time with it lol.

Re: Timing Issues

If your clip start playhead is at 1.1.1 and legato is turned off, there's no reason for playback to start in the middle of the clip.

The only way this makes sense is if you have legato turned on, so turn that shit off!

Re: Adding drums to the piano roll

You can use sampler.

I prefer to create an audio track in Arrangement and manually pitch up/down the particular sound I want to the particular pitches I want. Then I crop all the clips and throw them in a drum rack.

Re: Video on why 64 pads should not just be for drumracks

I obviously already have a piano, and has been playing piano for decades. With that, it should put in perspectives why I would be trying out this new way of playing notes. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you're just close minded, unable to see the potentials of future possibilities. I've...

Re: Video on why 64 pads should not just be for drumracks

You again?

I disagree wholeheartedly. Fuck the launchpad drumrack layout. Use the Push layout and play the chords in the middle, instead of in the most awkward place possible.

Re: Apply LFO to automation parameters

Yeah M4L's LFO is the way to go.

Also, some instruments already have this functionality. In operator, for example, you can set a bunch of stuff to be controlled by the built in LFO.
