Re: Quality control / Beta purpose

I quite agree. This always seems to be the case with 1/0's though? Back in the day when I was an IT Technician they were always avoided. I think that MS have finally worked it out. I understand that they will no longer keep changing the name and version of the operating system but instead just offer...

Re: Updated computer, worse performance

Hello Daniel. I'm not a MAc user but sorry to read that you haven't noticed any improvement after upgrading the RAM/op system. But in a way I am pleased to read this because I am experiencing problems with 9.2 using too much RAM compared to 9.1.x. The system requirements state minimum of 2Gb and I h...

Re: cleaning mold from my PA speakers ?

Sounds to me like they are being stored somewhere that is too damp. Loft maybe? Or Garage? Assuming they are not sealed speakers, how about getting some of that silica gel and putting inside during storage. Wrap the silica gel up with a piece of string dangle it inside the port so that you can easil...

Choke

:?: I want to get used to using choke in the drum rack but there doesn't seem to be a way to prioritise which sound has well, priority. At the moment I have a stick and a kick which I add to a choke group and I want the kick to keep sounding, of course, and the stick to be the sound that dips. But I...

the train experience - Gong Sounds Good

One of my sound effect/track productions lost in the sea of DAW produced tracks. You'll need an undisturbed 15 minutes to get into this. Cup of tea, headphones on and feet up.

Re: audio reverts to MIDI = no sound

Hi Mads  I've well and truly made a chump of myself! Whilst editing in arrangement view I must have inadvertently dragged a midi clip into an audio track and the result = original midi track resets. I could have kept quiet and saved face but hey, this would have given the developers the run ar...

audio reverts to MIDI = no sound

Not sure if this is a bug with the BETA or something I'm overlooking. Using IMPULSE with drum rack PENTHOUSE. Hot swapped snare with alternate aif sample. Occasionally the snare track reverts back to MIDI = no sound from snare. I guess that the only difference is that the snare I'm using is not the ...
