Re: Major bug: 9.2.2: VSTi Macro parameters not remembered!

1. Live can't scan the parameter values when VST preset changed. 2. Live started to forget parameters of VST in the Rack after the latest update. 2 issues? Thanks man! :) 1. Well if you change the vst parameter it never reflected on the macro, but the oposite works. Its always been like that and th...

Re: Major bug: 9.2.2: VSTi Macro parameters not remembered!

Nor do I want that and usually they don't. Weren't the Macros at the positions the parameters should be when the project was saved? If this is the case I still think it's more likely that you failed to save the preset of the VST itself and another patch or a previous version of your patch is loaded...

Re: Major bug: 9.2.2: VSTi Macro parameters not remembered!

If you have existing tracks already created, hopefully you no longer need to chance presets but if you do, unmap the macros until you find your new sound then re-map. For all future racks do not map macros to the VST configured parameters. So all my new tracks the last months are lost, is that it? ...

Re: Major bug: 9.2.2: VSTi Macro parameters not remembered!

It's an issue since forever. The MACRO knobs do not follow VST parameters but the configured controls do. If possible, forget the macro knobs and just use the configured controls instead. Hmm, yes I seem to remember that. I also seem to vagely remember there was a hack to fix it, some text you coul...

Re: Major bug: 9.2.2: VSTi Macro parameters not remembered!

Does this happen for all vsts? Or is it more likely on some than on others? Have you tried it with both complex vsts and simple vsts? It might help Ableton to know which vsts you're having the most trouble with. Yes, all vsti's, old as new. I tried: Diva, Fab Filter Twin 2 and Bassizm. 3 highly dif...

Major bug: 9.2.2: VSTi Macro parameters not remembered!

I think I found a huge bug with Instrument Racks: Live 9.2.2 does not remember VSTi gui parameter changes for any VSTi when reloading the projects or even when copying a Rack within a project. I use Racks on all tracks in all projects so basically I cant work on any of my projects now, and this hurt...

Re: mIcrotonal support in LIve

Im ok with using U-he stuf and Omnisphere.
The only thing I miss is to custom configure the midi editor. Like if im using a 13 note scale, id like the grid to reflect that. Basicly id like to be able to edit the scale layout of the keyboard midi note grid.

Re: LIVE 9.2b1 Discuss....

In FL Studio deletion happens nearly instantaneously. Although FL studio does not have undo (maybe it is partial explanation of the sluggishness...?) Also FL studio opens the project in 8 seconds and closes it in less than 1 second. Ableton opens in 18 seconds and it last 28 seconds for it to close...

Re: LIVE 9.2b1 Discuss....

Really stoked about 3rd party plugs and automation latency compensation! Thank you thank you than you Ableton!! Best DAW news this year for me! This has been nr.1 on my list of concerns and wishes since Session automation. Its not just about my personal and likeminded needs, its also about Lives rep...

Gigabyte Ultrablade P34G

Had it for over a year, its great. Rocks any mac. 14", 4 usbs, 2x ssd (optional)
Only issue is the battery which runs out to fast, like 90min on full power.
Other then that, its a macbook pro for 1/2 the price. And its good lookin too.

Be sure to get the latest model: v2

Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?

Thanks Jakob! From Cableguys FAQ: Q: FilterShaper or VolumeShaper work fine in Ableton Live when being the only plugin on a track. But they can show noticeable latency in other cases — this can (but does not have to) happen when there are several plugins on the track, or when used on a group or on a...

Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?

Also sends, and tracks without using automation. You can hear it for example if you create a paralell chain in a rack, put an fx in one, and then do a crossover sweep to the other. Its clearly phazing because of latency. Just did my inversion test with parallel chains in a rack (3rd party fx on one...
