yeah mac or pc is a good start, i presume mac,
i think midi pipe should do it.. midimonitor should help you also

what i ment is that because live cant recognise chords and start playing clips like boba wants..
using the launch section of clips he could easily get them to start playing and and even loop for him by pressing just one button..
much easier then programming MAX/MSP for him i imagine

ive had no problem with mine, got it about a month or two ago so obviously the latest system update fixed issues..
