Does anyone else still use Slice To New Midi?

When I'm slicing audio, it's usually an instrumental break or a whole track that I want to grab sections of. All I need to do is quickly map a few entry points to my keyboard and jam away, experimenting with different pitches. Simpler has these new slicing features, and Sampler has slicing too, and ...

"Preserve Warped Timing" and warping chops in general.. FML

Slicing to a new MIDI track.. Please leave "PRESERVE WARPED TIMING" OFF by default. It drives me absolutely f**king crazy. Actually, chopping samples in Live is more of a pain in the ass than ever before. Whether "slicing to midi" or using the new features in Simpler, everything is geared towards w...

Note Length MIDI Device - A "no flam" mode for Push users

Sometimes I accidentally do a very fast double hit on a push pad, usually when bashing out drums. It's a pain in the ass. It would be amazing to be able to use the "Note Length" Device to ignore these second hits, - or more specifically, to ignore the note OFF of the first hit, and continue through ...

Re: Push 2 sensitivity

Some people are reporting pad sensitivity on Push 2 being greatly superior to Push 1, while others are having the opposite experience.

Very strange. I won't be upgrading until this issue is ironed out.

Remote User Scripts in Live 9 - Changed to PYC files?

I'm trying to set up an Alesis QX49 keyboard to work "natively" with Live. I downloaded a "User Remote Script" which is a basic text file (quoted at the bottom of this post) - It was designed to enable the Alesis QX keyboards work with Live. :o However, it seems this file doesn't work with the curre...

Re: creating an auto wah effect using a filter

Wait a sec. Is that not what the envelope parameter does?
Am I right in thinking that by side chaining to itself, you're effectively just giving a pre-envelope (pseudo) gain boost?

Or am I missing something?

I'm trying to get to grips with Auto Fiter more. Thanks.

Push encoders are touch sensitive- visual reflection in Live

I realise Push is primarily aimed at performance and experimentation, and that arrangement is low on the list of priorities, but I'm pleased to see Push is further being developed as a mixing and sound creation tool. I think there is HUGE potential for Push to be an excellent controller for Instrume...

Re: Push feature requests

Operator - I would love if Operator would display the page of whatever parameter is being tweaked with Push.
At the moment, I can be tweaking Osc 2 but graphically it remains on Osc 1 in Live/Operator.
Likewise with filter, LFO, etc.

Re: Automatic Massive control parameter mapping to push

just to add to this -

You can drag around and rearrange your individual parameter configurations to your liking.
Also, you can right-click on the top bar of the Live Device and choose "save as default configuration" ...

Pretty fuckng cool

Bigger font up in heer

Is it just me or is the text in the user forum really tiny? I end up zooming in a lot.
