is it a new m-audio product? because i recently bought an oxygen 8 and live lite 6 came with it and the serial is on a separate green piece of paper? the last midi keyboard i bought came with live lite 4 which was in a proper ableton case with the serial inside, whereas the new one, white paper case...

^^ what he said if you want it on cd you can just burn the .wav or .aiff (the export from ableton when render to disk is selected), file with itunes. ^^ like he said, if you cant pick up the bass notes by ear, try trial and error :), loop the section you want to use, then just put a bass instrument on a midi track and just try different notes til you get what you want , you could also use a tuner plugin see what notes it picks up to help you, orr...
