Re: Bit the bullet and bought the Roland boutique JU-06...

The new Minilogue by Korg is true analog, and would serve as a great first analog synth from what I am reading :) It's also a lot bigger. It was the same With the minibrute, so this week I went for the microbrute. I am excited about the Korg Minilogue and looking forward to when the first People ge...

Re: Live 9.5 crashes/issues

Sign up for the beta program and download the new Live 9.6 beta 1 ! You can just install it seperately next to your existing live installation. I was getting really fed up with the crashes and hang ups and was very close to throw the towel in the ring. It was either the Focusrite 6i6 causing Ableton...

Re: Preventing Windows Defender from scanning Ableton assets?

I assume you mean by dragging new packs into Ableton? When you do that, files are being moved between two locations and then Windows Defender will scan them, if either Source or destination folder are not excluded. Another, better option is to restructure your folders, so you can exclude these file...

Re: Preventing Windows Defender from scanning Ableton assets?

Unless Your PC is never Connected to the internet, I would trongly advice against disabling anti virus. Windows Defender is excellent and very low profile and it's extremely easy to exclude folders. 1. Open Windows Defender 2. Go to settings 3. Go to exclusions 4. Add the folder (or folders) you wa...

Re: Need help!

I guess this is my last hope on running Live without having to use Windows as my main system. Can you guys show me the way? How do you get to run Windows on VM? It depends what kind of system you have? If you have an Intel Mac (which pretty much every Mac is since 2007 or so), then use Bootcamp. It...

Now this looks interesting. Can't wait for Sonicstate to get their hands on it and do a thorough review on it.

Re: Bit the bullet and bought the Roland boutique JU-06...

Awesome. I did the same. Bought my first piece of analog gear which was a tad costly and just a mono-phonic instrument even though it is considered duophonic which was a Moog sub 37. I love it. I already realized I want an analog polyphonic synth. Analog gear is a lot like potato chips. I am sure y...

Bit the bullet and bought the Roland boutique JU-06...

..... and now my software synths sound like casio toy tunes. Seriously, I am mighty impressed by this little beast. What a sound! I had watched Ollilaboratories videos of the boutiques and they are by far the best ones showing the true power of these things, making me finally pull the trig...

Re: Focusrite Scarlett on Windows 10 - working OK?

The Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 has a known clipping problem with the instrument inputs every unit out there has this problem. The only fix is to use a D.I. box or sell it for something else. I traded mine in for Saffire pro 14 Im not very happy with this interface either mainly because its firewire.......

You have heard that, have you? yep. i have been looking for a new interface to replace my old touring unit and a couple of reputable sources have said that the Scarlett range is one of the less reliable. Re: Anyone else find the Push 2 unplayable?

My Push 2 wont start up with live. Installed the beta too, no success. When i activate port 2, suddenly the Push seems to come to life, but its only the buttons and screen displaying. No reaction or midi response when i play buttons. I really hope Ableton is working on this.. W10, 64 bit System, al...
