Nevermind. Ableton was pointed at an older 64 bit installation of M4L. Redirected it in preferences. Everything's fine now.

So I tried to use Alexkid's Instant Haus on the latest version of M4L and Ableton Live (9.0.6) and it says "The selected Max Application is too old to be supported by Live"

Is anyone else having this problem? I really liked this app.

It didn't. I reinstalled it and for some reason it saw the packs again.

I think the Ableton installation process deleted it.

Nowhere. I gave up and last night started just redownloading all the packs from Abes. Thank god I hadn't used Live 9 enough to have a bunch of my own presets yet.

I checked the actual user library folder via Explorer - Everything is GONE. There are virtually no files in there. Everything from all the packs, including the enormous orchestral packs, are gone.

I just installed the latest version of Live 9 and my library is GONE! I didn't have a lot of presets and such, but it's going to be a riproaring bitch to download and install all the packs I got when I first downloaded and installed Live 9.

What happened?! Is my Library just GONE? What happened?!

But deleting the Live 8 library isn't going to break my current, new Live 9 projects though, is it? It will if any of those projects used content from the Live 8 library (very likely). Not sure about presets but certainly samples. Live 9 is designed and intended to work with the Live 8 Library. It'...

Doesn't the Live 9 core library have all the basic compressors, EQs, etc.?

Hey guys, So I've been doing most of my recent work in Live 9, but I've still got Live 8 and it's library taking up space on my HD. Can I just uninstall Live 8 and delete the library? Or is that a terrible, terrible idea? I still sometimes access old recordings I did in 8, just to re-extract the aud...

Clarification: I'm recording at live band shows in a small space. The band is performing for an audience, and I'm recording off of the sound board. When I use my condensers, I tend to get a lot of feedback. I'm usually micing every instrument / vocalist.

Mostly I'm recording other artists, not myself and the space is small, so I can't really get them to use those. Also, most of them don't have them.

How's the Rode NT1A? I've heard great things and a stereo pair isn't expensive.
