Re: Live 9.2 wish list (I know this soon?)

Addition to some of the other stuff I posted here a while back: -Theory analysis for midi clips (select a group of notes or harmony and Live tells you the possible scale or chord that it is) -the Velocity editor at the bottom of midi clip should also be able to set automations for other parameters l...

Re: Best FREE 64 bit VST plugins

After switching to 64 bit pc, my entire VST library became useless. it sounds like you went to 64 bit because you got a 64 bit PC, which doesn't actually mean anything as regards running 32-bit programs! It just means that your computer *CAN* address 64-bit computing, not that you have to run 64 bi...

Re: Best FREE 64 bit VST plugins

I have Googled a lot and have not found anything good, thats why I posted the question, to see is others might already know some good places to get plugins, not to just do research for me. And thank you for the KVR link, haven't seen the website yet surprisingly, very helpful. And no, I don't not ha...

Best FREE 64 bit VST plugins

After switching to 64 bit pc, my entire VST library became useless. On top of that, I have found close to none good 64 bit VSTs, like less than 1/10 of all plugins are 64bit compatible. Now I know that programs like jBridge can convert the 32 bit VSTs to 64 bit, but I have a minimal budget for music...

Re: Live 10's GUI

I like the basic look. Live doesn't need that fancy-ass shinny 3D layout that other DAWs have. Thats what I like about Live, it's made for the sole purpose of making music efficiently and without all the unnecessary crap, like Reason's retarded instrument rack with "realistic cable setup". Keep shit...

The Horrors of transferring Live to new PC

I've recently bought a Windows 7 64 bit laptop and had to transfer my Ableton stuff from my old 32 bit Vista. First, finding all of the Ableton files and folders scattered throughout my old pc was a nightmare since for some reason it sent all of the different stuff to different locations. Second, af...

Scanning for VSTs freeze on start up

Every time I've opened my Live 9 recently it starts doing its whole Scanning for VSTs thing and freezes so I can't open it or do anything. Any tips?

Very impressive stuff.
Not even big on electronic dance music but can tell that this is some quality work. Keep em coming! I would also like to hear some more different styles if you're up for it.

Microtonal music in Live

I wanted to experiment with some Oriental and Middle Eastern sounding melodies and can't figure out how to go about making Midi tracks for micro tones (notes different in pitch from any of the 12 standard notes). Anybody have any ideas how to do something like that?

Re: Live 9.2 wish list (I know this soon?)

Not sure if some of these tings already exist but I just haven't found, but anyway: *Using VST plug-ins with Live's software instruments *Ability to change the program's layout colors from just grey *More preset instruments, obviously If you can tell me how to get these things now id they already e...
