Apply name to clips, bounce groups, render just selected par

Hi, I really like the new feature that allows to apply colour to clips, could you please add the option to do the same with the name? Also it would be great if there was a way to have like a line for every track to toggle on and off which shows the tracks name like logic does. I would love to be abl...

Are there midifiles in the core library?

Hi, just wondering whether there are midifiles included in the core library (drumgrooves, basslines etc) or are there just audiofiles included? Also is there a way to preview midifiles? If so yould I load a vsti and preview though this? (bassline midi file through bass vst or drumgroove through samp...

mono signals in live. Is it ok to use mono plugins???

Hi, I am wondering what exactly would be the right way to deal with mono signals. As far as I can tell there is no way to create a mono track. Alternatively I can use an utility set to mono but as it looks to me I end up still haveing an audiostream with 2 channels which just carry the same informat...

Hold Parameter for amp eg in simpler or sampler?

I suppose I am asking the obvious but is there any way to have a hold parameter for the amp envelope generator in lives simpler or sampler? Without it I always have to switch between midi notes to adjust note length and the device to adjust release. I would very much fancy a hold parameter to be abl...

Re: Typo in live 10 very eye-tireing

got used to it quite fast.
Jesus the new version is WAY faster than the old one.
I really don't care about new devices but this is exactly what I was hoping for. It really feels as if I had changed my computer.
Well done Ableton!!!

Re: Typo in live 10 very eye-tireing

Sorry I am not an English native speaker. I guess posting "Ableton hat die Schriftart geändert" would not have led to many answers. Working in healthcare I am not into those kind of things except if a font is replaced with another which causes me to post in a forum instead of making music or treatin...

Re: Typo in live 10 very eye-tireing

- Would this really be a problem for you if there was an option in settings to switch back to old typo? Great that you obviously like the new typo. I find it eye-tireing and would have thought twice before updating as I think about switching to bitwig for a while. If I had known about the typo I wo...

Re: weirs display in live 10

No unfortunately it is the font itself. Just installed live 10 on my macbook and it is looking the same. Not sure why they had to "develop" a new typo instead of just sticking to helvetica or whatever it was they used before. I cant see myself working with that for a longer time. Hope lots of people...

automation in live

Hi, I have a problem. Sometimes when editing a clip I can choose the plugins that are attached to this clip in the editmenu and select a parameter I want to automate sometimes it just shows midi controller and no plugins. How can I change this? Also when using push (I rarely use it due to the crypti...

Live crashing when loading project saying "loading samples"

As the title says. Ableton wont open my project saying it is loading samples. I usually collect and save but even if not can i somehow just stop sample loading and relocate manually. This is a nightmare. My projet is fucked completely.
I am in an urge to finish it

Re: Set Live to Scales???

Thanks for your answer. I knew the effect but have to say it is a bit clumsy to use it on every track also I can't really configure it myself. Way wetter solution in logic I think :(
