old thread but thanks guys. just switches back from os x to windows and an actual dell xps 15 9550 was a bit better than my macbook pro from 2011.
now it works way better. still not that of a jump in performance as i was hoping for but way better than before changing power settings.

hi!
probably te most easy thing to do but could anyone tell me how to multitrack record in session view for me it just wors in arrange view.
Also how do I record midi overdub so that i can edit notes, enter notes and record some on top?

well.. i just want to stay within the program
lets say the beat is going with a nice bassline and i am looking for some short fx. i dont want to listen, go into the folder and copy, i just want to select and go on like you can in logic.
