Re: Seen the front page? Live 9 is here :o
I wonder how they managed to get automation in session? And how do they deal with the fact that session/arrangement are relative/absolute.

Re: re-map any note
I created a patch for someone a while ago who wanted something similar. However; you do know that Live also provides the 'Scale' MIDI effect which can also transpose notes? Alas; you might like my MIDITransposer, you can grab it from my website here . It picks up any incoming MIDI note and transpos...

Re: re-map any note
I'd like every note playing in a MIDI clip (or from the tracks live MIDI input) to trigger C3 on that track's instrument (in this specific case, Sampler.) So I would like a device that takes in all incoming notes, all octaves, and poops out C3 for each one. Play D#2 on a keyboard, device converts it...

re-map any note
Hi,
I have a simple need to re-map any note to C3.
Is there a device out there that does this? I looked through the maxforlive.com library but I could not find this.
Or can you lead me in the right direction?
I really don't know how to use M4L...
Thanks everybody.

Autosampler Template for Ableton Like Redmatica Autosampler?
There was a template posted on "defeq" site but now it is gone.
It was a Live template that automated the process of sampling a synth.
Anyone have this template?
Like Redmatica autosampler. But in a Live template.

Noob question regarding 32bit AU's
Is there a way to get my 32bit AU's to work in the beta? They dont show up now. My fav plugins are 32bit and probably wont be made 64 anytime soon.

Volume automation from amplitude?
Hey I was wondering if there's a device that would allow me to record/write volume automation from the amplitude of a signal/audio file?

Re: Pretentious IDM thread.
Thought it'd be nice to have a thread where you can post current favourite tracks. My go - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZWdWzMdndc&playnext=1&list=PL3FB7331BA60DE54D&feature=results_video Sublime! So f-ing good. I didnt realize he had a new release. Thank you. This makes me want to write tracks.

Re: Split midi chord so each note plays different chain/sample?
probably with M4L... I would really like to do this too, though I have no idea as well. it's kind off challenging, because when you play a chord, each note starts at slightly different time maybe a buffer could gather these notes until a certain number are pressed, then spit them out in note order l...

Re: Live 9 Speculation?
@cabletone... unfortunatly, there is some sort of collective "let's be dicks about letting any discussion happen about Live 9 dates or rumors" going on. If you look at other responses from Tone Deft, Da hand (Angstrom, 3dot..., H20nly should show up shortly) they just keep shitting all over any thr...

Live 9 Speculation?
I haven't seen any 9 speculation in a couple weeks.
Any reason to suspect a May announcement?
