Rosko, you said you're not able to determine what makes M4L crash on your setup. Did you send a status report to crashes@ableton.com, or a crash report ? They should be able to see where the crash takes place and maybe help you. I did(I have absolutely sameish issues as him)..i think at least 20 ti...

I have latest Battery and samples loaded in battery sounds totally same in Live simpler. They phase cancel. Obviously if you used any of Battery effects or playing modes (akai sampler emulation) sound will be different but then this is option.

Absolutely not. That's not the right way to look at it. Max objects were created by talented developers, and are perfectly stable in and of themselves (for the most part). Is there any official info on this? Are they working to resolve these issues? That you would have to ask the creators of the externals and or devices, i only ever use stock max objects and no externals for this very issue... Cheers D Wait... MFL will definitely be more stable in 32-bit than 64-bit. 3rd party externals (bits used to make MFL devices) often require a 64-bit updated version. Yes that is strange behavior, sometimes it doesn't work you reload it and it's working - like i said not showstopper but definitely not a pro app on which you can rely on stage. Until they resolve such weird behavior.
