Re: Ableton Live 10

-Make the second window an actual second window, were doing something in one does not limit what you see/can do in the other. So manipulating and seeing two tracks at the same time stops being an issue. -Untie Pushs selection from the selection in Live and/or let Push only influence one of the wind...

Re: Dub Machines

Hi, First of all I have to say I love the sound and effects generated by the dub machines! But I'm running into some problems: when I insert a dub machine into a track Ableton slows down excessively, stuttering meters etc. which is fixable by restarting Ableton. The CPU load also remains around 15%...

Re: Technique for writing compositions and songwriting

Hi there! I am curious (genuinely) why there needs to be a drop or "chorus" or whatever element - predefined? Is it a rule of modern EDM or something? I am getting far better results when not knowing where i am going in predefined manner. Just letting creativity born itself. Naming your song parts a...

Re: Jeff Mills gamma player pad

Ok file is going to be available next 20 days Gamma Project.zip Unzip and load in ableton. Ableton project in the zip file. With mp3 of the very first 4/4 bar of that song and kinda same pad recreated.. Go to Sampler and play with the Freq parameter to achieve same filter automation at the end of th...

Re: Dub Machines

If you are in to vintage tape delays/analog echo these are in my opinion best you can find. They beat countless tape delay emulations even the most expensive VST ones (yes i do have them or tried many of these - even DSP ones). Have you had the opportunity to compare any of the software emulations ...

Possibility to ignore a third party plugin entirely when its deactivated, so as to be able to use zero latency monitoring while recording with plugins that otherwise introduce latency in the active state. Andrejs But that's how it's working for me. At least it does for Nebula which introduces huge ...

Re: Jeff Mills gamma player pad

It's a simple pad but it's played in chord. There is a filter modulation. I recreated midi. I would like to share it but how to attach Ableton project to this forum?

Re: Tempo is innaccurate or I am doing something wrong?

Sorry to bump Can someone do me a favor and just try a test. Turn the metronome on and count the beats using a stopwatch. Its out every time for me on multiple devices. FL Studio on the other hand is pretty much accurate. The only reason I noticed is because I'm in the process of moving a project o...

Re: Setting up Roland Aira's with albeton

Hi Guys, you can use multiple "ASIO" devices in ableton (should work for all other DAW as well): luckily the tb-3 is utilizing asio drivers (and all other external souncards I have also support asio) so if ur second SC has asio drivers u need to use asio 4 all drivers 1. DL asio4all from: http://ww...

Re: generative ambient

Thanks for re-upped links (and thanks to Angstrom) but can any other good soul put online that monolake Generative device? Also these seems interesting but links are broken: download an abstracty number Download the sort...
