Re: Fast measurement of integrated loudness (LUFS)

Thanks for the quick reply.
I was hoping for some trick that would allow me to do this without buying new stuff, but I will consider it.

Fast measurement of integrated loudness (LUFS)

Hi, I use iZotope Insight to measure integrated LUFS, but everytime I want a new measurement I need to listen through the whole track. Is there a way to measure this offline? I asked iZotope and they said that Ableton is not capable of offline-processing, but that Cubase might be. I don't have Cubas...

Re: Making the switch to Windows

One would think that supporting UHD screens is a similar job as adding support for Retina, but what do I know.
I've written to Ableton support and will let you know if they reply with something interesting.
Thanks.

Re: Making the switch to Windows

That was an interesting read, thanks. I assume VST3 is not necesarry in order for Ableton to work on UHD screens as well as it does on Retinas. Is my assumption wrong?

Making the switch to Windows

Hi, I currently use a Mid-2015 MacBook Pro and it works fine, but since I never carry it anywhere I would like to sell it and instead build a desktop computer. I've started installing Ableton and my VST plugins on a Asus Zenbook Pro UX501VW to make sure everything works. It turns out Ableton does no...

Re: 4k SUPPORT... It's 2016.

I got a new laptop and it didn't cross my mind that I would have to make sure Ableton works at a certain resolution.
Seems silly to me, but what do I know. So yeah, please fix this.

Hi, I'm familiar with that one, but I want to decide where it plays from, not use the current position.
Thanks.

Changing playback position in piano roll

Hi,
when I hit space-bar in the piano roll it always starts from the beginning.
Is there any way to change this?
Thanks.

Re: Catnip - Trapped in the Dark [Genre question]

Hi, from what I can gather from your soundcloud page, you are 17, like cats and make music. This is a really great first song mate, and given your young age your stuff will sound amazing before turning 20 :) Personally, I would reduce the amount of overall reverb as it will make the track sound a bi...

Moog sub 37 + external instrument sync

Hi, there are a few forum posts out there discussing issues with connecting external synths and syncing them up with Ableton, but as far as I can see, my specific question has not been asked. I have connected the sub37 via USB to a macbook pro and via jack to my Apollo Twin. I create a midi track an...

Re: Your feedback on my Electronic-Fusion track

That was unexpected! I like the melody and your singing is cool, it's got a lot of feel to it. Personally, I would do quite a bit of work on the vocals. That is, I would remove some low-end, and a bit probably around 200Hz.. The vocals also need some top end. The piano in the beginning to my ears do...

Don't know anything about PsyTrance, but I had a listen anyway.
Interesting stuff. It sounds great, and I would probably go crazy with it if I was drunk enough :)
Good work.

Hi,

I had a listen to the youtube-clip.
The sound is great, and your playing is beautiful.
Very relaxing piece.
Good luck to you.
