Re: Push2DisplayProcess

Yes I have as of last week I just installed a SSD in my pc. Re: Push2DisplayProcess

* I just got out from the terrible feeling my quadcore i7 machine was for inexplicable reasons starting to indicate it was as insufficient as my previous Core2Duo. When I finally bit the bullet and did a clean installation of macOS Sierra the shit hit the fan and just to copy back my music and my m...

Re: Push2DisplayProcess

What are you on about? This is about people seeing in Activity Monitor or similar that this particular Push 2 process uses up a considerable portion of the CPU power. They may need to use more CPU than you… My machine is nowhere near top of the range PC, in fact its only a HP Pavilion 550na 3 years...

Re: Push2DisplayProcess

Not quick blaming because i contacted ableton support first about this, just like others here with the same problems. And its a fact because Ableton support told me that push2 takes off CPU off the host. Also not blaming Push 2, blaming ableton for not being transparant about the hardware requireme...

Re: Push2DisplayProcess

Where is this fact? I personally think your barking up wrong tree here, quick to blame push, when it could be anything, including your computer, or interface/soundcard, or even pushing the sample rates & buffers too hard. Om my PC with I5 cpu 16GB ram, I quite easily run 16 tracks plus with VSTs wit...

Re: Ubermap for Push 2 (VST/AU parameter remapping)

Instead of making racks for my VSTs I make 1 rack and put an instance of Komplete Kontrol in that, then within that Komplete Kontrol I then bring in whatever VST im after, reorder the parameters to how I want them, (I dont use the instrument rack macros) save for each preset you want.

Re: Push and Native Instrument Presets

Never had that problem, I have NI monark & Synth1 with no issues, I have my NI presets racked up within NI Komplete Kontrol as well, as can browse them all easily from Push2. Interesting. Would you try the following? - load Monark - control OSC1WAVE via Push slowly over the whole range back and for...

Re: Push and Native Instrument Presets

Are you using the audiomodder that was mentioned? Or is it all just working as is?[/quote]

I have used the Audiomodder stuff, but was missing a few pieces from NI that audiomodder hadnt done, but easy to do yourself with Komplete Kontrol, much easier than using Ableton Instrument racks.

Re: Push and Native Instrument Presets

I think it is fair to mention a bug, that has been confirmed by Ableton support. When controlling 3rd party plugins, it can happen that, while controlling certain parameters, there is a mismatch between Push 2's screen and the plugin / it's GUI. I found NI Monark, u-he ACE, u-he Podolski and Synth ...

Re: Push2DisplayProcess worse CPU hog than Live

A look at the Windows Task Manager informs me that the Push2DisplayProcess.exe process take about 20% on my old Quad Core Q9550 CPU. That's more than the Ableton Live9 process with one drum rack and two u-he Diva (mono mode) VST instruments. Windows task manager isnt accurate so dont rely on that!

Yes I saw them, they also make them for Push as well although bit pricey for me.
