Re: kids prefer mp3 to uncompressed audio? ugh.

Actually some of us can tell the difference on a real system. I've done it a bumch of times, where i've taken an WAV version of the file and a 320 MP3 and i can tell the difference. It's all in the low end bass quality and clarity of the highs. If people aren't used to listening to high quality musi...

Here's a question ... That red box that appears in Live, the one that shows which clips are currently shown on the APC, is that ... a) a standard feature of Live 8? b) something that can be done with MAX or MAX4Live (no APC)? c) something that is ONLY available to those that buy the APC? ??? I was t...

As a side note, the internal soundcard that Xone 3D's have is a complete piece of shit, i'd recommend returning the mixer and looking at a completely different setup. By the sounds of things, you need to read a lot more on this web...

Changing the start point of a track whilst its playing

Firstly, i searched, and i've asked others and no answer, so here goes. What I want to do I would like to be able to play a track in Ableton, then say that track is halfway through, i would like to be able to change the start point of the track, to say the end of a break down, and then launch the cl...
