Re: Where is ableton 9? :(

I'm pretty sure they're just trying to get Share perfect for L9. ;)

Why's that? I haven't given up using Live 7, but I've picked up Logic Studio and quite like it. For now I'll continue to use both...

Fantastique, that little Biscuit!

Built like a tank, great variety of fx that all have a nice lofi vibe.

For other outboard fx maybe have a look at the pedals at analoguehaven... tons of good stuff out there.

Polytrax - Recent Bits of Ooze

Some light and some dark, melancholy tinged, and of course way down tempo. Piano, acoustic guitar and field recordings. Lots of noisy fx as well. April Sky 192k mp3 - 10.6 mb - 7:15 mins An odd little taste of something... the beat actually touches on hip hop at times. You Will Not I Repeat 192k mp3...

Re: Blah blah you, and your 30% off!

I suggest emailing Ableton. They took a lot of heat for this promo and they know users are upset. If you take it one step further than just venting on forums and email Ableton, you won;t be disappointed. They gave me the 50% off coupon even though I didn't upgrade. I have been a suite user for year...

Re: A few surprises!

Wow screwed big time, bought Intro first to test it out ..... Then bought Live 8 ..... Loved it .... Tough discussion, buy Suite or M4L (at Christmas) so bought Suite ...... And now this ..... Won't be spending much money with Ableton again! What, in your estimation, would prevent this heinous sequ...

I open it once a year and apply 3 drops of household oil just to keep it from seizing up.

Re: ** How many people actually MIX songs in Ableton ? **

I've mixed in Live for years, but I'm actually in the process of changing that. I picked up Logic Studio last week and plan to at least begin mixing in Logic, and perhaps creating there as well. So far I've been pleasantly surprised by Logic... pretty easy to set up, nice selection of instruments an...

Been using iLok for 5 years or so. Haven't had any technical issues using plugins, adding licences, transferring licences. Handy when you want to change computers. I like it.

Re: ReCycle or Stylus RMX?

Spectrasonics is a shit company, they charge money from you if you want to resell your stuff. I have Stylus RMX and Atmosphere but i haven't even installed it. Just to bring some balance to this statement... Many companies charge a fee for licence transfers, some companies simply don't allow transf...
