Yup, sounds like you haven't set up your interface/Nord properly.

- How have you set up your Nord?
- What audio interface are you using?
- How is the sound going from the Nord to Live? Audio?
- How is the sound not quality? Distorting (too loud)? Too quiet?

I saw a video today on optimizing Live Sets (it's new - on Ableton's YouTube channel), and they recommend not storing samples/audio in the cloud. If you're clouding, that is!

Are you opening the sets as an audio file? If so, make sure that warp mode is turned off - that thing trips people up all the time.

One thing that can really make sounds stand out is the mix - it's really a major key to a great-sounding track. EQ is your buddy here.

Oooof. I don't suppose you can give any more deets? Like Mark said, likely a plugin issue? Does Live do this with an empty set? On brand new projects? On projects that only use native Live devices?

Unfortunately, those things usually take some trial and error (and time) to figure out.

My practical advice (for what it's worth) - forgettahaboutit. Just pull the master (or maybe better, the actual individual tracks) down. Does the presonus come with any audio management software?
