Yes, exactly. Since the fade is drawn along the entire length of the clip, when I throw it in to MIDI mapping mode, anything I target is instantaneously assigned to the CC on that envelope causing multiple elements to be controlled by that one signal. I would assume that you've used VIP to scan your plugins. If so, then you can load an instance of each VST into a given slot of a VIP multi, up to 8 per VIP Multi. Save your multi. Trackpad speed is over the top. How to slow it down?

Using two fingered gestures in Ableton on a Macbook Air trackpad yields erratic, spastic control of the clips. How do I slow this down? If I scroll with two fingers it whips across the screen and I can't control it precisely enough to not want to throw it out the window. Back to the mouse every time...
