Re: Global groove needs to come back for LIVE beat making!

Agreed. Push has kind of a global groove for newly recorded clips...not the global groove as before, but you don't have to manually get a groove clip and assign it to a clip.

Re: Push is badass

I actually love Push too. It's kind of the ultimate Live controller and drum machine. I'm super excited about Live 9.1 and new Push features.

With time and some updates, some cats are going to get super bad ass with this thing!

Re: you went from maschine to push? what are you missing?^

Haven't used Maschine with Ableton since. I thought Mashine would supplement my drum sequencing but I've come to realize Push is more than capable of programming a drum pattern.

I use Maschine with Logic.

Re: How to get scenes into arrange view

Same here. I hate have to try and line up track when I drag and drop. The good news is when 9.1 drops we can detach the session view from arrange view and put them side by side. This might help with drag and dropping.

Re: How to get scenes into arrange view

Thanks Because Yeah, I'm sure there's no shortcut, i.e. command+shift+I to get from Session to Arrange. However, I think you could implement it. Just set where you want the new scene to be inserted, for example bar 65 and do some key command. All existing clip in arrange would be overwriting. I like...

Re: How to get scenes into arrange view

I should have further clarified my question. Is there a shortcut other than drag and drop or record to get from session to arrange seeing as how now we have a shortcut for making scenes from arrange.

How to get scenes into arrange view

Curious, now that we can capture and insert scenes into session view from the arrange view, is there a way to insert a scene from session view into the arrange page?

Thanks

Re: About to purchase suite 9...any issues/problems???

Been using suite 8 for the last three years. I have been saving recently, so that I could purchase suite9. I do a mix of sequencing hardware with ableton, and composing using the sampler. Most of my time is spent in arrangement view - but I'm really excited that live 9 allows you to transfer the ar...

It doesn't hurt to know but don't rely on it to make music.

Re: Easy to miss Push features

Hold select + a drum rack pad. Now while still holding the drum rack pad, release the select button and you can adjust the note length, velocity etc for all steps corresponding to that particular pad. I use this all the time.

Re: My Full Review & Experience Of Point Blank Music Online...

Save a ton of money and subscribe to macprovideo for a couple months. In one of PB's free videos their instructor kept calling the arrange view the session view. Plus, I've seen typos on their site. I get it, we all make mistakes but for whatever reason, I'm more sensitive to these details than most...

Re: Pad feedback latency

Anyone else late feedback? I hit the pad, hear the sample, then a few milliseconds later the pad turns blue.

With other controllers ive noticed the pad changes color instantly
