ahh i see, you meant add a velocity midi effect, i thought you were talking about velocity on the arpeggiator :)

Chord + Arp. add a negative value note in Chord but set its velocity to the lowest possible setting (this makes chord hit two notes at a time, one being nearly invisible). In Arp (Up) set it to Free (milliseconds) and make it only repeat once in Retrigger. Your delay would be the amount of millisec...

There is Delay Compensation available for each channel in Ableton Live. The downfall is, I'm not sure if it screws with your latency??? On the mid-lower right hand edge (by the scrollbar) are window on/off options, hit the D, and play with those, see if you can get your phase on :) thanks for the r...

Hi all, im looking for a midi effect that i can put on that will delay or advance the note by however many mili seconds so i can play it realtime to have things (ie,hats/snares) play slightly before or after the beat. are there any tricks to get ableton to do this, or failing, any commercial/freewar...

Hi there, i was hoping someone would be able to give me some advice on how to achieve an effect ive been looking to do. yeah i get this problem in xp (bootcamp) on my macbook pro also.... never had it in OSX, i think i would die if i ever did, its been rock solid so far.
