Re: Exporting/rendering all tracks with send effects printed

I don't understand why people would try to get individual parts of the send return structure separated. That by its very nature changes the character of what it would be like if you had the combination of all the sounds. Simple example - say you have both drums and synth sent to the same reverb. Th...

Re: Exporting/rendering all tracks with send effects printed

I apologize for resurrecting such and old topic but I am wondering if anyone knows if Live 10 will address this issue. Exporting 15-20 stems is common for the work I do and it is a PAIN to have to export each group so all of the FX and Mastering chain get printed. Many times I have incredibly tight...

Re: Group Mute mutes all nested channels (and groups)

"Just add a VCA" then. Maybe it's not so "just" to add anything. Because adding things has consequences. Some are good ones, other, like side-effects, can be bad. Consistency and meeting natural expectations is quite important. If the group mute could optionally be set to mute all group members, fo...

Put it on a image sharing service (e.g. imgur.com or many others) and post a link with image tags around it.

Re: Group Mute mutes all nested channels (and groups)

In complex projects I find myself grouping many tracks (and groups, in future Live 10). Since I don't mix in the box I use to route tracks to different external channels, even if they are part of the same group of tracks. It would be very useful and handy to have the option to mute the entire group...

But Live 3 audio engine definitely has a more vintage sound

He's obviously not in the beta, otherwise he'd check it out and know the answer.

To OP - yes, HiDPI solves this problem finally :)

Re: Ableton 10 Feature Request

Bitwig's modulation system makes Ableton totally obsolete. That's just not true. Most of the things you can do in Bitwig you can replicate in Live using MaxForLive and in some cases it's actually slightly easier, i.e. modulators (LFO, steps, etc.) are not confined to the device they're in, but can ...

Re: Am I The Only One Not Impressed?

Why would anyone do that? Just go to where you bought them & d/l the 64bit version. Often 64 bit is an upgrade or not available. Can you give examples of 64bit being an "upgrade". I can obviously see some plugins not getting 64bit version if development stopped some time ago, but otherwise it's har...

Re: Bitrate Measurement

What is the measurement of the bit rate in Ableton? Kilobits per second? Megabits per millisecond? Like, the setting in the preferences dialog box offers you options of 16, 24, 32, etc., but it doesn't say what type of bit and how often. Also, anyone know how bit rates above 100 relate to these sta...

Re: Push 3

I know what Push 3 will be!!! Watching this video (https://youtu.be/0CdMvkBOUgs) it occurred to me clearly as a day: Push 3 will have Live integrated and won't need the computer at all. They'll maybe add a slightly bigger screen. what makes you think so? NI could have done that relatively ea...
