Re: What monitor screen do you use?

I think it depends on your needs. Also you need a good videocard for it, I guess.......

Why would it not be good?

I think it saves some space, and works ergonomicly good. I have a 26" extended HD screen now, but love to have a 32" curved though

Re: Buffer, latency and rendering

NO rendering has nothing to do with this latency - you can export and render your stems without the fear of latency! :D

Re: "External Audio Effect" - has no Record button! why?

What are your "configurations reasons"? If it is to record an external synth: there is a special instrument for.

What do you like to achieve this way?

Re: Ableton not showing vst's

Are the vst2's 32 or 64 bit?

That is, Live 10 is 64 bit only.

Re: Ableton not showing vst's

In preferences go to the scan button - press alt on your keyboard and press scan with the mouse. This way it is forced te rescan everything where you have pointed Ableton to.

Re: Generic MIDI driver for Windows?

Yeah, sometimes stuff is to old, and Windows is prone to not working in these circumstances.........but: the driver states to be for Win7-SP1/32bit too, so most of the time Win8.1 "accepts" it, that's why I found it strange it didn't work. These days really cheap controllers can be found everywhere,...
