So theres no knife tool then?

In fruity loops theres a knife tool you can use, even diagonal across many notes.

Watch this video, pretty simple cool stuff.

I blew mine up, was using it with a smoke machine & lighting, the smoke moisture got sucked in by the psu fan, had a power surge and blew every board inside.

For the price, the first one you mentioned is pretty good.

But now looking for one with fanless psu.

The only reason warping is such a pain and problem with Live is that the built in auto warping just isn't good enough. It should be a lot more accurate, even if that means adding a new batch warp function that takes a lot longer to run for more accurate results. Its not like its just complicated tr...

At the very least I wish Ableton would put assignable loop trigger points in each clip, like a 4X4 grid and each button would jump to a different cue point in that clip instead of having to have a clip per cue starting point. another idea would be to have a bunch of "midi assignable shift keys" you...

Best MIDI device to launch clips?

Im thinking of ways to launch clips using midi controller(s), must have midi-in so can have nice little lights telling you which clips are playing. What's your ideas? 1 Monome. (128 or 256 lights) 2 Yamaha Tenori-On (256 lights) 3 Casio light up keyboard (61 lights) 4 Korg NanoKontrol? (18 lights) (...

There is a cheaper alternative only £41 Korg NanoKontrol:
http://www.korg.co.uk/products/software ... c_nano.asp

buy a few of them for even more control.

Remote Zero may have automap but when you switch instruments the faders are all in the wrong positions!? Or are they motorised?
