custom plugins folder

id like to have a folder of just the main plugins that i use. I assume I can do this with the custom folder in preference, just wondering if it will mess anything up,if i just copy and paste them from my system folder.

I think people worry about additive EQing because its ass excess gain to the mix perhaps?

I find very simple synths such as just a square and or saw wave with quick attacks work well. Any effects should be post vocoder. (except perhaps saturation or bit reduction.)

First question: Yea probably tape.


Second question: There was a thread a while ago that talked about how to get basically that same Royksopp bass sound with only free plugins. Try and search for it.

Are you being serious? Those things are great tools sometimes but they are in no way a substitute for music theory. I want to use them basically as business cards. No body has cassette players anymore anyways, but they are cheap and its somethign cool to handout with my name on it.
