Re: project without packs / instruments, can i get it to works?

Find a friend with the full version and get them to bounce it down?

If not install the demo and do it. Remember to repeat that mistake because you only 1 30 day trial for the demo

Re: Just tried the demo for Reason 7...

I feel what your saying! The interface and workflow is convoluted! Gives me headhache. Never had Reason myself but some of my friends were using it and never liked the "analog" approach. Its more to appeal to people who are more comfortable with analog equipement. I must say that the stock sounds we...

Re: Retina Macbook Pro, Mavericks & Live 9.1 Problems

No its not suppose to its not suppose to affect the audio. Thats kinda the point of live. That why I originaly liked live because I could add effects in real time without clicks. I dont have that trouble even with 128 buffer (depending on the set size of course). You should contact support this is a...

Re: Instrument rack layers vs track layers

Yeah i think I remember reading that rack chains were not delay compensated. A bummer really. In the
Mean time you can group your tracks to save screen space. All those 3d party plugins are causing delay. (I think ableton's oversampled effects are now delay compensated)

Re: What about scale in music production ?

Get a good book or read up online. Privates classes with a well trained musician would probably help. Learn an instrument. Piano or guitar.

Re: Please some Info on updating from 8

Like anything else there are some ups and downs. In this case the ups greatly outweight the downs. The transition was farely smooth, you can open your live 8 sets no problem, it keeps access to your old live 8 library. The core library in 9 you cant touch much but you can choose what packs you want ...

Re: What about scale in music production ?

A scale is selection of notes that sound "good" together. Intrusments in the same song should usualy be playing in the same scale. The scale device in ableton forces all notes to correspond to the scale of your choice. So putting a scale device on all your instruments prevents you from making "mista...

Sounds like either a volume issue or phasing issue caused by PDC. What are the insruements your using? are they Ableton or 3d party?

Re: Best warp mode to keep sound quality in live 8 and 9

Your right in your assumption about repitch mode not afftecting audio quality at same BPM, same applies to Beats mode. Im not 100% sure but I think all the algo expect for complex and complex pro dont affect sound quality if played at correct BPM. You can have you channels go in the red in ableton b...
