give me rythm!

Good morning! I originally posted this at the refx forum but since there is quite a lot of intelligent people here i thought i should give it a go :) Original post: Just wondering if there is any must-have sample libraries. I'm looking mostly for house/club (clubhouse trance?) related stuff. I have ...

BEFORE I AM GOING TO SAY SOMETHING MORE: Sorry but the 3.5 gb thing doesn't matter. By default, Windows XP limits applications to 2GB of memory space The upper limits of the Windows system cache size grow from 1GB in 32 bits to 1TB in 64 bits, a thousand-fold increase. WinXP x64 even takes advantag...

1) Personally i put gigabyte motherboards in the discount class. But i've heard good stuff about them. My personal preferences are Asus and MSI. 2) why the hell wouldn't he buy 4 gig of ram? I use much more than 2 all the time. Especially some of the stuff i'm developing requires a huge amount of me...

Hey! Well I suppose a dual boot might not be a bad thing. But even though I've had some troubles in the start with some audio drivers, so far it hasn't refused to start. Haven't been in fail-safe even one time :) The people complaining about speed simply have too slow computers :P Mine is also quad ...

But i was thinking of buying East West Symphonic Choirs but i have read some reports saying that it's word builder just wont work well on Vista/64 and i dont think you can even download a demo of it.. The thing is other than my Ram questions and my old plug-ins, this is prob the only thing stopping...

The thing is the seek time. For sample data, don't run with the fastest rpm disks, its not needed. For the OS and programs, where the data is picked from various locations, the seek time has to be fast. Personally i have a WD Raptor x 150gb, and its noiseless and had no issues so far. I put all the ...

In my personal opinion i think the live 7 update looks good, because of the 64bit engine and the compressor with sidechain support. Of course it lacks a few things, but i still think it looks ok. The only reason i'm complaining is because he complains even though he was so lucky to have it for 6 mon...

Compilers (either free or very nicely priced), vst's, flstudio(previous daw) and lots of other stuff (windows in a lev...
