I am running quadcore, 4 gigs of ram and vista 64bit. The system is very stable, and i the only place i have had any problems was syncing my new phone with my pc. (my pda sync's fine but it would be fun to have all 3 synced up). I am a software developer, and since 64bit might be a future for most s...

Cannot say anything about option 2, but i can tell you that my core2quad 2.4 runs absolutely stunning. And it runs from every single dual-core system i have met so far in most things. I have the freedom to do whatever i want! I can add as many instruments and effects as i want with no trouble at all...

the new compressor is really really good for sidechaining. And remember you can treat audio before it hits the side-chain too, for odd effects, and OTT pumping, which you will need for your Hard House tracks, if I am not mistaken. It sounds great, it looks great, and it has the features you need. h...

I was 20 days too fast to buy Live 6  Anyway I haven't regret the choice of Live, and today i spent a lot of time with it creating a club/hard-house track. I was on the way out to purchase a side-chain enabled compressor from Kjaerhus, but now i j...

Now i keep the drinks on the complete right side of my desk, since last time it was weekend and i really felt like getting down with some programming after a harsh week, i sipped my espresso and then dropped the whole QUAD esp. in my microsoft natural ergon...

Funnily enough i chose live over sonar because of the way you create music in it, and i am not talking live use here. Back to reading the manual. I have been reading from chapter 1 to 20 so far, and i feel like i am ready to give live a go (of course i have learned the basics by playing around at fi...

I hope to be able to use good parts of FL while having Live as my main sequenzer. As you say FL wipes out the creative flow in a way i feel live does not (despite i am very new to it). And i'm still happy i chose Live over Sonar, as the thing i don't need is a linear recorder. I need a sequenzer wit...
