I believe (don't have the gear in front of me) the padkontrol pads and knobs are assigned to midi CCs in all scenes, but one way to verify is to look at the little yellow light in the top right corner of Live, and use the pad, the light should be lit while you are using it. I do have a dedicated sc...

Korg PadKontrol Users!! ableton admins!!

I've just purchased a padkontrol to use alongside ableton, mainly for recording but will also be used for triggering live6 with my band later on.... well when i get around to working out how to use it. How about getting a seperate section on the ableton forum for those of us who use the padkontrol o...

I have a padkontrol and Live. I don't know of any premade scenes for use in Live, but it's not hard to make custom scenes on the padkontrol. There may be software to do it faster but I do everything on the padkontrol itself. It's all in the manual. I've learnt how to assign some of the ableton cont...

Does ableton not come with any presets? I was watching a vid on youtube of a dude doing some work with scales but i dont seem ...

Any news on ableton 6 & reason 3 glitching problems?

Any news on ableton 6 & reason 3 glitching problems? I.E Rewire as a slave to ableton only to get random high pitched pop/glitches, even when it's not running. This is starting to cripple my intentions with regards to using ableton for live work. This happens on both my live laptop and my studio pc....

Any news on a patch to fix the issues in this thread guys? At this moment in time ableton is sat doing nothing as most of my work requires the use of reason...... until i find another option. But this shouldn't be the case, the glitches make playing audio from reason via live impossible as the rando...

This is one of the things that annoys me as i have some vsts that sit in different locations. It would have been nice to be able to scan a group of folders rather than just the one for vsts.

Re: snap, crackle, and pop

So I've had this problem since I've owned Ableton, which is about 3 months now. The problem is, the longer live is left running, the more cracking I hear with the audio. It sounds like a bad speaker, I don't know how else to describe it. The worst thing is, it saves with song files. I have made qui...
