Re: Rebuilt a Live 10 Projekt in a lower version

For audio : Export selected tracks
For Midi : Consolidate, then export each midi clips
Audio effects : Save you presets, the rebuild the effect chain.

Lots of work! good luck

Re: Is video rendering on MAC fixed in Live 10?

Good point mikb, I am not a video specialist, but I often have to send video exports to clients, and being able to send good quality video is part of of the job.

I'd like to know more about codecs, and how live recognizes them

THanks

Re: Is video rendering on MAC fixed in Live 10?

Well I don't know if it's the Perian Codec, or just Live 10, but I was able to Export a video in Quicktime format.

I already had the Perian Codec in my computer, but I reinstalled it.

I didn't change any setting, just chose Quicktime Movie.

This is good news

I finally received Live 10 Beta. I'll check if I can export video on my side.

It is very frustrating...

Re: Is video rendering on MAC fixed in Live 10?

Did you get in touch with support about this? I've never had any issue with video rendering (I use 64bit), and still no issue with L10. Could you tell me the settings you use? I tried many Mac computers and never could export a video with a proper image.... Support even told me they didn't know how...

Is video rendering on MAC fixed in Live 10?

Hi, I want to know if the video rendering is fixed in Live 10. Unfortunately, I don't have the chance to test Live 10 Beta... They have enough testers... For those not aware, Live 9- 64 bits can't export video with OSX... So I have to keep Live 9 32 bits just for video rendering. The 64 bits version...

Re: Scene stop problem!

By default when the scene's clips finish playing, they just stop by default. If you want the next scene to play you can use follow actions, or use a midi clip that is mapped to Scene launch

Re: Sudden Omnisphere/Diva silence

I'm not sure how you do this, but the proper way to do what you want would be to use an Instrument rack... And use the chain selector to go from one VST to another.

I've tested Diva and Omnisphere in an instrument rack, and everything worked fine.

Good luck

Re: Performance issues between 9.1.10 vs 9.7.4?

I don't have the report number case anymore, but the answer was something like "i see that the volumes do not change equally, now they have a ratio" something i didn't completely understand...

I think i will open a new case

Re: Performance issues between 9.1.10 vs 9.7.4?

I think you mean Ableton. Didn't you get a response? Those results are in conflict with mine as you could see. Are you saying this is always working for you in Arrangement view? Yes, they noticed the behavior, but I never saw an update about it I never really used this in arrangement view, testing ...

Re: Performance issues between 9.1.10 vs 9.7.4?

Exactly, it messes up the gain structure.

I did the +2 test, it was fine, my clips started at 0,2,4,6 db and ended up 2,4,6,8 db.

Then starting from 0, 2, 4, 6 db, I did -2db. Results: -2, 0.40, 2.40, 4.40 db

I told live about this 2 years ago, nothing has been done about it.

Re: Performance issues between 9.1.10 vs 9.7.4?

I can change the clip volume relatively in 3 selectively clips, so chances are you misinterpret what is happening. It works in arrangement view, but not in session view. I would be very surprised the you can make it work, because I tried it on so many different computers and it never worked. If you...

Performance issues between 9.1.10 vs 9.7.4?

I have an old computer running 9.1.10, Mac Mini server 2012 - quad core 16 gigs Ram, osx Mavericks The only issue I have is that my laptop has version 9.7.4. I can't transfer my work from it to the mac mini. I am wondering if I'll encounter performances issues if I update to 9.7.4 on the mac mini......

Re: Time signature or tempo changes within a scene in session vi

Really it's not that complicated, and in my case, even if the song is all in 4/4, I like to separate it by sections. It's easier for rehearsals, I can practice by sections. A feature I have been asking for years is the tempo automation, to be able to play songs with accelerando, ritardando, and othe...
