I was at this show, it was great! It will be nice to re-live the experience through this set, so thanks for the link!

As for another plastikman album? Probably not, but if so, not for a while!

never thought there would be a skating topic on here! glad to hear I'm not the only one still skating. I only skate street, pretty much every day at least 2 hours a day. I'm about to turn 28 and still feel 18 body wise. Been skating for over 20 years now, and amazingly the body has held it's own! An...

yep... getting kind of boring waiting for NI to sort themselves out... Tell me about it hey? You'd think a company like native instruments would have been on this LOOOONG time before now. Such a major player in audio software should have released UB products a year ago. Such slackers, I love the so...

Re: Hey Detroit....

Detroit, What do you think about the play-ability of the LP studio? Does the lack of fretboard binding make any difference? The cost factor is pretty big ($1200+ cheaper) so that woudl be a big difference...... I haven't noticed much difference. It looks *dull* compared to the regular LP's, and rea...

I play a gibson les paul. I'd recommend the les paul studio, cost less because it's less flashy but sounds the same as the regular LP's. I don't know much about fender's so i can't comment on that.

i find having lots of gear around to be a mental burden. i feel guilty about the things i'm not using (they seem to sit in the corner and whimper "why am i no longer of interest to you"?). yeah, I think we all get that feeling. But I mean using just a few things all the time plays them out quickly,...

unless space is an issue I've never really understood downsizing. Having an endless amount of gear to me, provides inspiration to experiment and try something different... I have so many synths and racks I can never get bored. Pretty much once a month I purchase something new for the studio. Yesterd...

If you REALLY want that sound, regardless of what others say, nothing compares to it. I have 2 tb-303's and the ABL. The ABL sounds great, but side by side the real honestly destroys it. It's a big purchase, so make sure your going to get your $1000 or whatever use out of it. But if that IS the soun...

1. is there that much difference between the 1.83 and 2.0 macbook? Probably not too much. I have the 2.0ghz because that's what comes in the black. You could maybe get a few small vst's extra in the 2ghz version, but not much. 2. is bootcamp free? Bootcamp is free, but XP isn't. You'll need to buy a...

This is on XP too, from my understanding, OSX is much more intelligent in how it allocates RAM. More will always be used if you have it available to the system. OSX is actually a memory hog. I have mail, ichat, amsn, and firefox open and I'm using 500mb of ram right now! WTF??? luckly I have 2gb of...

the firewire 410 by m-audio is the bad one people always talk about. has tons of issues left and right for tons of people. everyone I've talked to has been happy with there firewire audiophile.. it is m-audio, and the actual audio quality isn't anything special. But what can you expect for a $150 fi...
