I speak a bit of German. It's all from school years ago though so it's pretty rusty. Even just a week here so far has certainly improved it. One of the reasons I decided to spend a month here was to practice, actually.

Re: things to do in berlin?

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm staying in Prenzlauer Berg right now and enjoying it very much. Berlin is a fun city.

No, but it seems to run fine here as a 32 bit app on x64.

Re: ableton live laggy in windows 7 (fixed)

I'm running a core i7 machine, with an EVGA Nvidia 9800GT card.

Do you have Aero turned on? I haven't tried without it yet but the fix was working for me with Aero on.

Re: ableton live laggy in windows 7 (fixed)

Setting Vista compatibility mode seems to have done the trick on my Windows 7 x86 machine here.

It forced me to unlock again though.

The TI works like a champ for me in Logic but I've never been able to get it to work via Virus Control in Live.

so I don't think it's childish self importance for people to express their disappointment that it's now gone 5 major updates without being fixed I mean, to me that suggests that it probably wont ever be, because if it really will require a major rewrite, then they will be rewriting a far more compl...

I can see the usefulness of this feature request, and think it is important to read Robert's post to understand the difficulties Ableton faces in implementing this request. I appreciate that he's taken the time to explain why this hasn't happened but at the same time many of us have been waiting fo...
