i used to use a t-23 thinkpad.. it was perfect for audio.

Hi)

I was just wondering how the preview volume level translates to channel levels...

example : I preview a sample at -9.2db... the same perceived volume on a channel is approx. -15.2db...

Is there a definite mathematical formula that I can use?

make a hit point at the beginning of the sample.. then you can adjust the speed again..
