i would seek and purge all traces of the BCR2000 from your device manager and registry and try again. you could also set up a fresh install of Windows 10 and try the BCR2000 with that. that way you will know if it is a fatal problem (which based on others' experience it isn't), or something messed u...

if you turn the indexing back on and let it finish it will probably be okay. sounds like it got corrupted and confused after the clone...

if my calculations are correct a 2GB file will hold around 4 hours of audio @ 48kHz/24 bit ... Sorry to be a downer, but a 2GB file will only hold around 2 hours of 24 bit / 48Kz uncompressed stereo audio. you need to create the file if it doesn't already exist... if you don't have a straight text editor, you can use TextEdit to create and edit the file—go in the TextEdit preferences and change the default file type to Plain Text... https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/articles/209772865-Options-txt-file

back now and had a quick squizz at the user manual. so you have 4 sets of software mixes available, Mix 1/2, Mix 3/4, Mix 5/6, Mix 7/8. note that Mix 1/2 does not automatically correspond to outputs 1/2 in Live, nor does Mix 3/4 refer to outputs 3/4. there will be a way to configure them to do that,...
