Hi Philipp, thanks for the hint. But it would be nice if it worked without the rack workaround. Racks still have this evil habit that when you map a parameter to a macro, the parameter is set to zero. Ok, you don't have to map the parameters, but then it is more difficult to access them with the apc...

How do I save the parameter configuration of 3rd party plug-ins with a preset? I don't want to configure a plug-in again every time I insert a new instance.

stop thinking in terms of midi channel and think in terms of midi ports. stop sending midi to the APC from tracks that take midi in from the LP. been using my APC and LP together for many months, no conflicts, unless I set them up like that. IMO it is pretty funny watching the two light up 'random'...

Please correct me when I am wrong, but with Live 8.1.3b2, you cannot prelisten a clip in the browser anymore by clicking on it. you have to click in the waveform preview field with the "click here to prelisten" text, too?! Annoying and useless.

the previous beta 8.1.2b4 tells me that there are no new betas. it's lying, apparently...

buttons are lit with the beta, great! I didn't suspect Live to be the problem...

I wonder why the LED rings and buttons aren't lit when I use the "ableton" template of the remote SL. Is this normal? They are lit when I try other templates, so what's the problem with the ableton template? I set everything up like it is described in the novation DAW setup guide. not using automap ...

Doesn't work here. I've set the Automap settings to "focus device = Launchpad", but no automap functionality. I can't even show or hide the automap head up display.

I'm using the Remote SL MKII with its template 32 as a control surface in Live 8. I wonder why the record button doesn't work, but most of the other transport buttons work as expected? And pressing the stop button twice should set the time to 1.1.1, this doesn't work either.
