Re: No more hot dogs

i know what you mean... after over a decade of being on the forum, even through its masochistic flesh tone skin phase, i was completely lost when i logged in and saw the classic black and white again. the new navigation had me fumbling and chin stroking for several minutes.

Re: MPE support.

Has anyone out there seen a good tutorial regarding connecting Bitwig with Live? Not sure what that means CPU wise, but I'd love to use Equator in Bitwig for editing MIDI purposes, but have the audio go directly into Live. Not the most ideal setup, but it would make editing MPE alot easier for me.....

Re: Live foot controller other than Behringer?

i've been using a Logidy UMI3 for years and it works flawlessly... it helps that it's built like a tank too

there's only 3 buttons, but you can daisy chain multiple units together if you need more.

There is a tunable test tone generator on the Audio preferences page.

Re: Ableton Live 10 Suite: Midi Keyboard and Latency

you probably need to ditch that Driver Error Compensation setting. i could be wrong, but i doubt it's helping the way you think it would.
most people need to just leave it alone.

Re: RAM usage

Do you have a lot of files on your desktop??
If so, move them to somewhere else.

OSX treats every icon on your Desktop like an active window, the more icons and files you have on your Desktop the more memory will be used. If that's where your Live sets are it could be hindering you

Sorry I currently have 8gb in not 4gb, I've checked and can install two SSD hard drives in, using the smaller 120gb SSD for Windows maybe then the bigger SSD for Ableton, or what software I use I would think twice before installing applications on a drive other than C:\ You can... but it can get we...
