I don't deny this thread is lame, unlike people who think the "Live 8 announced" joke is funny after what, the 100th time?

I'm sorry annoyance causes you pain, but the "Gotcha!" threads are lame.

Good luck with your affliction.

Hey, look, another lame thread joking about Live 8 release

Yeah, that's it, another lame thread about the release of Live 8. Has it been released yet, really? NO Has it been announced yet today? NO Will someone from Ableton be sure and say something on Ableton's home page regarding the release, when it happens? YES Is there any need for anyone to rely on th...

I can't read 10 pages right now, but I have to ask - how many people have had issues with their Akai MIDI controllers with Live previously to this? How has Akai handled it? Hopefully, with Ableton's name on the unit, Akai will take a little more responsibility so far as this item goes, but what abou...

well lets see .. im sure there's gonna be a live+APC bundle Any live bundle with hardware is probably going to be Live Lite or LE or whatever - I don't think I've ever seen a full version of Live bundled with anything when it wasn't the online shops doing the bundling, although, what else could thi...

I wouldn't recommend Electroma unless you want to sit through some arthouse, abstract, student film, and take it from a film student who sat through it strictly for the "learning experience" - it's pretty out there. +1 to the rest of the list, and add: Fight Club (Soundtrack by The Dust Brothers) Bl...

here's the BPM thing: http://www.gearjunkies.com/news_info.php?news_id=3437 Interesting...could be an actual MPC-killer, instead, of all of the bullshit you hear about wherever. Couldn't see everything, but cool looking. Is it an audio interface as well? USB or FW (I probably know the answer to thi...

Here's the text from Electronic Musician magazine which kicked all this off. This is probably the most informative post in this thread...and TBH, unless Steinberg is going to upgrade their customer service along with their "flagship blahblahblah", I still won't be spending any money with them; the ...

ModBook Pro looks sweet...

...except for the hefty price range of $4,600 to $6,600. Still tho, once it's affordable, this is way of the future.

The problems you talk about are actually pretty standard between MPC and Live - you might want to check the MPC forum. At any rate, it sounds as though your MPC is setup as the master in the master/slave MIDI relationship between the MPC and Live - Live is going to run at the BPM the MPC is set to, ...

Actually, there is a benefit - if you decide to move from Mac to PC ( 8O ), you won't be able to use AU's, so if you've got all AU presets, you could be in for a long changeover process.

I'm sorry, but this is a lame thread. "Musicians" get pissed when joe schmoe lumps "DJ's" in with them "DJ's" get pissed when you lump in the laptop crowd with them, and get pissed when you don't lump them in with musicians - try telling QBert, or MixMaster Mike, or Radar, or Z-Trip, or DJ Shadow, o...

Send emails to his top friends/band mates, pointing them all to everything you've shown us here, should be pretty embarrasing. Also, comment on his youtube page and his myspace page about where the original stuff is. Myspace forum mods also hang out in the Myspace forum (found here: http://forums.my...
