Spend 60 bucks on the SR-60's. They look strange but sound gorgeous. And it's nice to not be a lemming. No offense to those using the sony's and senn's!

Oops, my recommendation wouldn't be a good fit for DJ use. Nevermind.

30. Feel old cause I work too much and don't get a lot of sleep. I look like I'm 20 so people generally treat me as such.
It's all in the mind. I plan to be as irresponsible as I am now when I'm in a wheelchair.

I love hearing what people do for a living. I figured that everyone in here with RME's, sick pre's and synths would be hard earners.... I am a pc/networking field technician for a couple of resorts in my area. It pays the bills but I'm on call 24/7. If it weren't for late night phone calls, I'd actu...

Right Click on a Track or in the bar where the track title would be and choose "Insert Return Track". Or you can choose Insert Return track from the Insert drop down menu.
You'll now have a send knob for every return track you created.

He said in one interview or another that he wanted to build songs with more electronic trickery but that nigel held him back trying to keep the songs more intimate - thus producing the vocals more up up-front and with more clarity than, say, HTTT. I like Autechre and they make me want to make some t...

i dig the album. it took a little while to grow on me but overall, it's better than most of what i've been hearing. i remember reading that he took snippets of stuff that he was working on from the kid a era and i know he was messing with Cubase at the time. Being that Nigel uses Pro Tools, I'd imag...

Live is easily the most creative, intuitive and flexible DAW on the market. The only things that stop me from using it exclusively are 1) it runs like shit on my G4 PB 2) I'm not too keen on some of the essential FX - EQ and Compression particularly. So my shopping list is: a decent computer and ei...

I have this exact same problem and no amount of troubleshooting could alleviate it. Line inputs are working properly so I'm running a small mixer's L/R into those for a temp fix until I can afford something of higher quality. I know a lot of people with a working 410 but this is my second m-audio ca...

I could care less about the ads BUT I do believe they alienate the very people they are trying to get to switch. They seem to preaching to the choir.
