Re: Group Trax. Am I missing something?

Yo, Mr. Deft. All due respect to your explanation but it seems that we (you + me) use live in a slightly different way. I'm from the "old school" WYSIWYG generation. I generally assemble my toons in the arrange page and do most of my work therein. Envelopes, FX automation blah blah, yadayada. When I...

Group Trax. Am I missing something?

I'm ready for burning but....

We could group tracks in 7.?

All you did was assign xxx trax to xxx.

E.G. DRUMS (trax 1-4) assign to Drum-Sub (New Track - Drum-Sub) and.......?
What's different?

I can see that this might confuse but you know what I mean.

Re: Izotope Ozone vs T-Racks 3

Greetz, I would have said Ozone BUT since I've started using it I've got lost in one track that means a lot to me. It's a great tool but can take you on a journey that means re-mixing and even choosing different sounds etc. I think the best way to master your music is - "GET SOMEONE ELSE TO DO IT". ...

Thanx Amigo.

With a name like that you can't help but be nice. :D

It's a lot better (in my ears :?: ) than the last two versions.

Cheers,

Re: AntiVirus for Windows - Need ability to quickly disable

I must admit that I use Kaspersky and it gives me no problems whatsoever.

Having said that.......If I'm getting serious I switch my router off and shut all
background programs down.

The lower your CPU load the better.

Re: AntiVirus for Windows - Need ability to quickly disable

Hi.

This may be a stupid comment but.........

Just disconnect from the "big brother web ting" when doing toons.
You don't want to be distracted dooya?

EUREKA !

This is a re-work of a previously uploaded track.

Thankyou Izotope!

I've just discovered that there's a lot left to do after the "mix"

Comments + suggestions please..........? :(

Re: acoustic and synthesised downbeat tune

Yo! I love the composition and the lazy feel. I would like to suggest an overall reverb wash to make the mix less disjointed. It seems a little "stuttery" and doesn't gel as well as it could. What are you using for mastering? The reason I ask is that I've received comments on my "totally Live 7" mix...

Re: She's like a little bird.

Thanx for the input. I think the mastering is the problem. I've just downloaded IZOTOPE 4 and chucked one of the presets on master outs..............BIG difference! It'll take a while to master it (pun intended) but I reckon it's worth it. I'll probably get round to re-masteri...

Re: my first two tracks with live suite 8

I listened to both tracks and the first is my favourite. The intro is a bit annoying because I don't like the kick drum but it all smoothes out very nicely after that. Keep on keepin' on!

She's like a little bird.

This is a bump! I've uploaded a couple more tracks, yay! :D I really don't have a clue as to what is acceptable these days so any comments and criticism will be taken in a mature and intelligent fashion. Unless you flame the f#*k out of me. Then I will cry and throw my toys out of my pram! :wi...
