Simple Delay feature request

There should be a "no delay" or 0.00 ms setting so that I don't have to always open two return channels to spread a signal to unpanned and panned...

Rendered output affected by choice of buffersize ?

Might be a stupid question but does the same arrangement's rendered output file sound different if rendered at different buffer sizes, say 32 compared to 1024 ?

Re: Question about recording latency ! Nudge by Nature ?

Indeed... there should be a button to automatically link it to the latency caused by the respective chosen buffer size..

thanks everyone

Re: Question about recording latency ! Nudge by Nature ?

Thank you, I am aware of how to change the settings etc, also my question was not related to monitoring issues but rather if the recorded waveform is already automatically put in place by Live to compensate for the 1.5 ms latency or whether I have to always set my track delay after I recorded the vo...

Re: Compressors - Why bother emulating this old technology?

One might as well just not use compressors at all and draw volume curves, and in the case of multiband compression EQ curves, by hand... yet compressors do this more time-efficient. But it surely would provide the most controlled and best sounding results to do the volume curves by hand. :!: :!:

Question about recording latency ! Nudge by Nature ?

Hello everyone,

when recording vocals at Buffersize 64 with 1.5 ms of recording, will Live automatically correct the latency and move the recorded file 1.5 ms on the right spot or do I have to do it after I recorded ?

Thanks for helping

Hi-Q button

Can someone please enlighten me about the "Hi-Q" button ?

Does the button affect the playback quality of the clip even if the clip is not warped ?

Are clips always rendered in the highest possible quality whether the button is pressed or not ?

Thank you

Re: "There is not enough memory available." DRIVES ME CRAZY WTF?

:D :D :D :D :D Well, it seems the update from XP Pro SP3 to Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit solved all my issues.. I can play back 50+ track arrangements with several instances of Melodyne at low buffer sizes Really cool.. However, I had to turn off the quite nice Aero look & feel to get absolute perfection...
