Re: Launchpad nightmare

Maybe the Abes could link little Icons under our forum login, linked to our registered products like they do at Propellerhead....might make these pirate douche bags think twice before posting on the developers forums.

Re: using ableton in a traditional way

How do you guys deal with the concept of takes? I tend to go with whatever pops out first time...to the point on one track some years ago my bass player was doing some backing vocals and I managed to distract him to the point the poor bastard was pissing himself with the girliest cackling you have ...

Re: Happily Returning to Live!

Thanks guys, good to be back...already doing some freaky shit which would simply not have been happening in Logic (I mean, it COULD have happened, it just wasn't likely)....Just sketch padding at the moment but quite inspiring and productive.

Re: using ableton in a traditional way

Actually, I have just bailed on Logic and to be perfectly honest I am happily surprised at the quality of the sound from live...even more so by the quality of the plug-ins included. No regrets here!

Happily Returning to Live!

Well, I'm back to using Live as my weapon of choice after abandonment for a couple of years...and I have to admit to wondering why the hell I did! I switched to Logic because at the time, it seemed to fit into my more traditional linear way of thinking coming from a Tascam Portastudio background and...

Re: Which audio interface for Ableton & MacbookPro?

Not one that gets much of a mention these days, but I have absolutely no compalints with the (now discontinued I think) Mackie Satellite. Very flexible i/o options, two good pre-amps and flexible for both studio and on the road...made tough too. Tends to go pretty cheaply these days...certainly perf...

Re: Quic Question on Orange Vocoder AE in Live 7.018

Hey all, thanks but got it sorted....I was using the latest build of OV which is not supported in Live 7, had to re-install the 32 bit build and all is wine and roses again..
Cheers

Quic Question on Orange Vocoder AE in Live 7.018

Hi, was just wondering if Anyone can explain why Orange Vocoder AE no longer shows up with the GUI rather showing the slider controls and if there is a way I can turn it back. The GUI used to show fine and still does in Logic...iis it something to do wih Live's capacity to display cocoa interfacaes ...
