importing stems

I have no experience with stems so a newb question:

what's the proper way to import/place stems in session view that are designated Left and Right? (for remixing)

like:
synth L
synth R

drums L
drums R

each part should be on one stereo clip but they're separate L and R wav files so my question.

As with many others on here, I agree that Violator is the peak. It's hard to believe that album is 18 years old now! However I'd be interested what someone hearing it for the first time now thinks of it. I listened to those songs for the first time about 2-3 years ago. I was blown away. I recently ...

I had thought of making copies and re-looping and yeah it is easy. it's just that I create a lot of parts that start on the pick up...duplicating every time is like clutter and seems inefficient

clips with a pickup

nice tip, although I do plan on using the session view when recording, as you suggest...that lesson does it in the arrange view, however

thx!

record in arr. view & session clips

just learning LIVE now and going through the recording audio tutorial I thought recording in arrange view would produce a clip in the session view, nope

Is it like this by design or by default?

audio settings tips

hey ya'll, I just got LIVE lite with a controller. I'm thinking about upgrading to 7. But, I won't until I know it'll work right on my system. problem is i'm getting dropouts and crackle using just one soft synth. Raising buffers doesn't help (latency). I can use reaper and sonar at 4ms with no drop...
