To answer my own question:

Maybe i should place a utility plugin after all efx in the channel and use that gain for my initial volume tweaks, then, at the end, i have some 'fresh' mixer faders for the final mix

about automation and mixer volume changes

How do you do it people? I have a rough first arrangement in which i made some volume automation in various channels, using the mixer fader. Now when i sit down to do a final mix, and i want to adjust channel volumes, how do i fine tune full channel volumes without overriding the little tweaks i did...

printing manual update

It would be nice if there was a file containing only the updates and new features from live 7 to update the reference manual from version 6.

I'm one of those few people that actualy enjoy reading manuals.

I downloaded 7 and installed it and I was not able to unlock it. How do i go about doing this? Please... And another question: Should i fi...

Many many years ago, i was a radio station dj at one of biggest stations in my country. On one of my starting shifts, I introduced a song (Duran Duran's 'Save a Prayer), hit go, and forgot to turn the mike off. So i'm there, sitting in my dj chair, singing to myself...-oooo Save a prayer for me noww...

Swett do you have catgories of decriptions for your genres? I really like your decription of Moan. And what do the numbers at the beginning of your clip names mean? I've given up trying to describe music or sort it by anything but the most general types. The numbers are from Beatport tracks (and th...

I'm new to this forums and i'm from Costa Rica. So, Pura Vida. C.S: Costa Rica is WAY more than casinos and 'anything goes' strip clubs. Vertigo brings many names but there's many other things going on , for example, the lovely Montezuma House party that i used to host every Thursday in the little p...

The only problem i have with djing w/ LIVE is precisely this. With vinyl, you kind of build a relationship with each record, you can look at it and know exactly what it is. I believe that you can get to that point with file names in the browser, but it's a lot harder (on your head and on your eyes)....
