I had my KRK Rokit G2 6" studio monitors repaired twice because they were turned on/off in the wrong order. (Was actually my girlfriend once and my brother another time, I of course take care of my babies!) They are not the most expensive speakers, so maybe they are more prone to break, but I reall...

Learn music theory, there is no easy way. Detroit producers tend to actually know how to play music, rather than just try to copy and paste samples like noobs.

why is it so important to see the waveforms? you cant see them on vinyl either and dj´s manged to mix with that just fine +1 The only reason you need to see multiple waveforms when djing is when you are trying to beatmatch visually (which you shouldn't really need if you actually know what you are ...

fwiw i bought some replacement pads and the cork sensitivity upgrades from mpcstuff.com and it has improved the functionality of the pads a ton. I use them all of the time now for drum programming, whereas i use to hardly ever use them
